(1) R&D Team: We hold 23 core patents and boast a professional R&D team equipped with a chiller test lab, an enthalpy difference test lab, and a performance test lab. We continuously allocate 5% of our revenue to R&D activities. We have a comprehensive talent development program that enhances the technical expertise of our team members through internal training, external learning, and hands-on project experience. Our strong innovation capability, robust technological prowess, highly efficient teamwork, and exceptional adaptability ensure that our customers always receive cutting-edge, high-performance solutions, enabling us to maintain our competitive edge in the market.

(2) Product Innovation:

1) Marine air-conditioning system with air-cooled split-type inverter technology: Equipped with an Emerson Copeland inverter compressor, a centrifugal motor driven by an EC motor, and a dual-fan system featuring both axial and centrifugal fans. A 500-pulse electronic expansion valve ensures precise temperature control and delivers high efficiency and energy savings. The system features a copper-fin heat exchanger with exceptionally long salt-spray resistance, coupled with a dedicated radiator, enabling stable, long-term operation at sea. The fan blades adopt a biomimetic eagle-wing design, offering ultra-low noise levels for quiet and peaceful performance even in distant environments.

2) Marine high-efficiency flooded-chiller unit: Equipped with a high-efficiency flooded evaporator and a high-efficiency nickel-tube seawater cooler, this unit features a 2,600-step electronic expansion valve that enables precise temperature control, ensuring energy efficiency and operational stability. On the seawater side, it utilizes externally finned B30 copper-nickel alloy heat exchange tubes, which facilitate highly efficient and stable heat exchange even in deep ocean environments. The cooling water flow rate can be adjusted linearly according to the load, perfectly meeting the seasonal cooling demands of various application areas. The unit also incorporates a brand-new, low-noise, high-efficiency twin-screw compressor from Bitzer, delivering ultra-quiet operation.

Marine lightweight modular all-DC inverter chilled and hot water unit: Featuring a modular frame structure, this unit can be connected in parallel either horizontally or vertically, making it suitable for various space requirements. Each module unit is an inverter-driven compressor, which significantly reduces the inrush current, enhances temperature control accuracy, improves unit energy efficiency, and accelerates both cooling and heating response times. The inverter compressor delivers virtually zero surge current, thereby reducing the demand on the power grid. Moreover, the inverter compressor can adjust its operation according to the actual load, enabling precise temperature control.

Advanced equipment

Anqing Wellfands is equipped with internationally advanced, fully automated sheet-metal production equipment for marine air-conditioning systems, as well as multiple modern production lines covering comprehensive air-conditioning welding processes, multi-station electrical assembly, and highly efficient final assembly. We have the high-performance TruLaser 3030 CNC laser cutting machine from Germany, which is suitable for processing air-conditioning sheet metal of various thicknesses; a TRUMPF CNC bending machine boasting superior performance, speed, and efficiency; and the German Trumatic 7000 combined sheet-metal cutting and punching machine, ideal for integrated cutting and punching operations on sheet metal. Our welding production line features “robotic” welding workstations and multi-station welding teams whose welding capabilities have been certified by internationally recognized authorities. The electrical assembly and final assembly lines for air-conditioning systems are rationally laid out and highly efficient, supported by a team of highly skilled and well-trained production workers, thereby ensuring top-notch product quality and service.

Quality inspection capability

The Comprehensive Performance Testing Center for Refrigeration Equipment and Systems, invested in and constructed by Anqing Wellfands in 2019, currently features two comprehensive performance laboratories and three operational testing benches. This testing center is capable of evaluating key technical parameters—including cooling capacity, heating capacity, dehumidification capacity, air volume, static pressure, temperature and humidity, power consumption, energy efficiency, and noise levels—of various models of products such as chillers, packaged air-conditioning units, compressor-condenser units, refrigeration and cold-storage units, unitary air-conditioning units, fan coil units, air handling units, dehumidifiers, and duct-mounted fans.

a. The performance laboratories include: 1. A comprehensive performance laboratory for refrigeration equipment with a capacity of 1.60 kW, featuring an enthalpy difference test system; and 2. A comprehensive performance laboratory for 1,200-kW water-cooled chiller units. Both sets of performance laboratories have obtained qualification certificates from the National Compressor Refrigeration Equipment Quality Supervision and Testing Center and the Hefei General Machinery & Electrical Products Testing Institute, confirming that our company’s laboratories meet the required standards.

b. The operation test benches include: a 30-kW low-temperature refrigeration and cold storage operation test bench, a 400-kW modular air-conditioning operation test bench, and a 12,000 m³/h duct fan operation test bench.

The Comprehensive Performance Testing Center for Refrigeration Equipment and Systems is equipped with an advanced data acquisition and intelligent processing system that integrates modern information transmission technologies. It features a comprehensive application platform that combines display, monitoring, operation, testing, recording, and analysis functions in one integrated solution. The center enables real-time online acquisition, storage, transmission, and analysis of data and parameters throughout the testing process. Additionally, it provides video surveillance of the test site, remote data access, retrieval, and printing capabilities. The establishment of this testing center has laid a solid application foundation for our company’s design, research and development, and quality enhancement of refrigeration products.
